Hey everyone!

Sorry for the long wait for this update. I definitely bit off more than I could chew, but it’s finally ready!

As of this build, the old version of this project (Morenatsu ~Revisited~) is finally and officially obsolete. All the routes we completed in that version (yes, including Ten’s route!) are now included in Homecoming!

This build is also the debut of a new member to the Homecoming team: Tealfox64! He is assigned to write the upcoming Kouya route, but he also wrote the new August 16 content for Juuichi and Shin. Please give Teal a warm welcome!

For the ported Juuichi and Shin routes, we made a lot more adjustments to their content compared to Tatsuki. Upon review, we found Juuichi’s old route to be strangely paced. It was simultaneously both extremely slow and extremely rushed. To alleviate this, we wrote new content for him (August 16 and 18) and repurposed several events from the old Ten route (August 26 and 27) to bolster the amount of days in his route. We hope this addresses the pacing issues Juuichi’s route had.

As for Shin, he also gets his own version of August 16 courtesy of our new writer Tealfox64. In terms of adjustments, there’s one particular detail we changed concerning Shin’s backstory that substantially changes the tone of Hiroyuki’s interactions with the cat. This was planned since the Homecoming project started, so it’s a bit surreal to finally see it on the page, so to speak. I always found the original game made a mountain out of a molehill pertaining to a certain trait Shin had, so with Homecoming I wanted to actually justify that part of the writing. I’m interested to see if you guys think I succeeded in that endeavor.

By popular demand, we’re also bringing over the Ten bonus route from the last Morenatsu ~Revisited~ build. It can be found in the Bonus section of the gallery once a certain ending in the Juuichi route is achieved.

In terms of art, Devilizer was hard at work juggling a lot of projects on his plate. Still, he managed to complete two whole sprite revamps for this build along with some additional sprite elements for Juuichi. This time, we’ve got revamped sprites for Shin and Shun! No longer are those two going to be wildly smaller than the rest of the cast! We’re looking forward to hearing feedback on these two! After Shin and Shun, the only two main cast members waiting for a sprite revamp are Kyouji and Tatsuki, which will likely happen next build drop.

Now that route parity with Morenatsu ~Revisited~ has been achieved, I can focus on getting the Homecoming exclusive content implemented. First on the list is Kounosuke, who we’re already halfway through his Act 3 content. I expect his route to be complete by next build drop, then we’re going to jump over to Kyouji!

Thank you all for your patience during the development cycle of Build 11! It definitely took a lot of work, but we’re really proud of the results!
