In case of errors...

It has come to my attention that some people are having define errors, especially if they chose to sit with Soutarou during the Day 7 Raimon event. Given that I have not been able to duplicate this, I have hypothesized that the issue comes down to the game recalling previous data. As such, I highly recommend that people affected (basically, ANYONE who had a previous build) delete their previous Homecoming saves.

The save locations are:

<DRIVELETTER>:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\RenPy - Delete all folders within that have Homecoming as part of their name.

<Homecoming Directory (where you put the game after downloading it)>\game\saves - Delete all contents within the saves folder.

ANDROID USERS:

Your save directory should be as follows:

SD:/Android/data/com.homecoming.morenatsu.revisited.program/files/saves/ - The com. may or may not be there.

Afterwards, relaunch the game. The errors should no longer show.

Y’know....it’s kind of upsetting to see that Santa Lucia is getting all the attention now...it’s a great game and all and I support its production, but why has Homecoming not been updated? I understand if you can’t dedicate 100% of your time to developing your projects, but it doesn’t seem fair to focus only on one game since it’s obvious you have time for some form of development. If the plan was to be such a ground-up remake from the original by also abandoning the game, then well done.

Santa Lucia is a two-man project between DzahnDragon and Devilizer. Seeing as it's also a Patreon project on a monthly schedule, by necessity it is going to be updated more frequently than Homecoming, which is a volunteer project we develop because we want to. Three of the five members of Stormsinger Studios are still working on Homecoming in a high capacity, so the game isn't abandoned. The new director of the project, Frostclaw, prefers to have large chunks of game to be presentable per build rather than the piecemeal approach taken with Santa Lucia. When Homecoming updates next, you can expect to have a large portion of Act II playable, particularly the beach sequence which is radically different from how it was presented in the original game.

Omg I miss this game..........................................................

Me too dud
