"Santa Lucia" Build 21 Now Available!
Heya!
Today’s build adds the first few days of Nate’s route. This means we’ve cycled through all three husbandos using the old update schedule and have for the most part completed the first week of everyone’s route content. As I’ve discussed in an earlier post, this will be the last update in the rotating update cycle. We will be shifting to a more focused “one at a time” cycle moving forward. I just simply wasn’t able to keep up with the demands a constantly rotating cycle put on me, and in the interest of preserving my mental health I had to make the hard decision to change how we’re handling updates.
That being said, I can tell you Nate benefited a lot by having the other two blaze the trail for him. We were able to make interesting alternate versions of the events in other routes and also interjected a bit more humor than we usually do. I think Nate’s lighthearted route is a welcome breath of fresh air to the project which came at a really good time for me.
Also, I hope you guys enjoy the sprite revamps in this update! I think they’re both incredible improvements over the previous iterations and really demonstrate how much Dev has grown as an artist over the past year!

Hey guys!
As you’ve seen from Dzahn’s previous post, the update schedule will be changed, but besides needed CGs for the current update, it shouldn’t change my work schedule too much. I’ll still be working on sprites, both new and redone, as well as CGs and other things.
Speaking of sprites, I’ve finally finished Chris! This one was a bit of a doozy, as Chris has two poses and several outfits (and all their parts). I’m very satisfied with the results, but I’d love to hear your opinions! I was planning to have a third, new pose for him as well, but technical issues made that pretty hard to deliver on time.
Now, as a surprise, I’ve also completely redone Nate’s base sprite, who was the last member of the trio to still have a non-updated sprite. Just like Chris, I think he came out look really good, and just in time for his personal update too.
Anyway, whatever character we end up working on for next month, I’ll be ready and able, so thanks for sticking with us!

I really love this update
Is it just me or does nate only have one shocked face that doesn't match well with things? Its the smae when he talks about someone getting murdered and when he's just sadly remembering that his family hardly traveled when he was growing up.
They're both sad events but i dont think you would react like you are witnessing a car crash right in front of you or having vietnam fashbacks to both of them.
mabey downcast eyes and a sad smile/ half smile for the more reflective sadness or something.
I don't know why Nate's new haircut remind me of Family Addams
Heya, most of the characters don't have all their expressions in right now, so some of them are used as placeholders. It's definitely been a tough job juggling all the art on my own, but they'll all eventually have fitting sprites!
