"Santa Lucia" Build 33 Now Available!

Hey guys!

Looks like I’m going to need one more build to get through Zach’s birthday event. I was hoping to get this all finished so I could start on the Act 3 content, but I had just waaaay too much I wanted to cover now that Russell’s back in the picture. There are a lot of answers in this month’s build, and not all of them are going to be nice to hear. I hope you guys enjoy Russell’s triumphant return to the story!

We should definitely be finished with this event by the end of next month. Once we start working on Act 3 content, we will return to the same system we followed for Act 2. This means Bryan will be the focus character again while we fill out the common route content, then after his Act 3 content is finished we’ll jump over to Carlos, and then Nate.

If I were to give an estimate on how far along Santa Lucia is as a project (just the base game, not including the stretch goal routes), I’d say we’re roughly about 55% to 60% done. Now that most of the set up is complete for all three routes and the common content, big things are going to start happening in the main plot. I hope you guys are ready for it, because it’s definitely going to be a ride from here on out.

See you all next month!

Ok I hate to be negative about a project I do enjoy but this is really bothering me:

Zach (and the writers) are actually being an ass to Ben here in my opinion, the most glaring point being the idea Ben didn't give Russell a chance my counterpoint to this is Ben asked Russell about the accusations when the two of them were alone, he didn't assume they were true or make a scene about it in front of the group also if Russell was guilty Ben put himself in massive danger asking him about it.

Second point: Ben is trying to keep contact while Russell is trying to shut it down, during the argument at the valley Ben answers Russell's questioning honestly and without judgement while Russell refuses to answer Ben's questions and begins accusing Ben of being against him, after this argument Russell avoids Ben and straight up tells Ben "don't talk to me" meanwhile Ben has only one case of shutting communication and that one depends on the player's choice so it can be avoided.

Final point is the idea that Ben should have known that Russell wouldn't do that, my response to that idea is he had known Russell for ONE WEEK at the point they fell out, that is barely long enough to consider someone an acquaintance never mind knowing their moral framework.

Long story short: You are telling us, through Zach, Ben is judgemental ass when your writing actually shows the opposite in my opinion.

my guy i really need to hear Katie's side of the story here, dunno im still kinda uncomfortable

I loved October 3rd so much! This is too wholesome (minus the realization that Ben and Russel had in regards to Katie). It's hard not to spoil what happened, man I want to see how things will work out between Ben and Russel from here, this was so good

Russell is best friendo (at least, I hope he turns out that way).
