Hey guys!
We’re officially in Act 3 of Santa Lucia. This month we begin the first steps of the second half of Bryan’s route. Now that every chess piece is in motion, we’re finally going to start seeing some big events happening.
On the art side of things, Dev has been hard at work updating some of his old sprites. This month he turned his attention to Sam, who had the oldest sprite in the game. We’re quite happy with how the revamp turned out!
We’ve also got a sprite set prepared for Kane, the wolf on Bryan’s route. If ol’ Bryan isn’t careful, he just might have some competition for Ben’s affection, hehe…
Lastly, Zach’s got some new digs this month, courtesy of Karina of course. I’m sure you guys are gonna like the way the jacket turned out!

I so need a route with Kane x.

Darn not the wolf I was hoping to come across... (Though that character could be 4 other potential species, so I'm hoping for too much).
I smell two ships on this route. It's clear that Bryan is starting to absolutely detest his pump&dump sex life (for once he clearly wasn't exited about a big hook-up) and on October 6th it is revealed that a certain Lion has some feelings for somebody who didn't jump on the "he's a rapist" bandwagon.
Man this is so exciting. So much going on, it is clear that future days from here on out are gonna feature some great exposition [it's about time, the days of the status quo and slice-of-life adventures are a bit exhausted at this point, the romantic plot (especially for Carlos and Bryan, and an explanation for Nate's hesitance during their first intercourse needs explaining) and killer plot need to progress forward].
Thank you for mentioning that last thing about Nate! Ever since that update, I haven't seen a single comment mentioning how uncomfortable and almost upset Nate seemed and I'm like... I didn't imagine that, right? That was super concerning and it feels like everyone kind of glossed over it lmao
No need to thank me, the really concerning thing is the fact that the audience forgot that Nate was uncomfortable during his sex scene.
Maybe Nate shares a different form of the same thing that Carlos suffers from, internalised homophobia, it’s just a theory, but it would explain why Nate is uncomfortable during that scene.
I'd even say that ol' Bryan is about to be kicked out of the competition by that cute-as-heck wolf ! Well if I get a say anyway... X)
Not happening, it is clear that Ben and Bryan are finally developing strong romantic feelings for each other. Ben feels it more and more, and it was clear that Bryan wasn't at all exited for the threesome (likely because it means keeping Ben too far for his liking).
Plus, Ben might be more comfortable with Kane, but it is clear he doesn't have romantic interest for him. Even with him touching his leg and being in a comfortable close range one to another, his heart and mind are focused on Bryan.
I would love to see Bryan get jealous of Ben and Kane's relationship. That panda needs to feel some jealousy and drop the playboy act :P
that is an interesting thought. could B & K hook up, Bryan find out and suddenly get jealous and start questioning why he is jealous, finally be the push he needs to realize that Ben is the right one for him?

I would love if that actually ends up happening. We would get to see a Kane scene (cuz Kane is cute asf), and a side of Bryan that he never thought he had. The realization Bryan would have would be so emotional and romantic.
well, Ben does not have a gaydar, he does not know that Kane is lgbtqia. remember he did mention that he cannot tell who is and is not gay. so if the dev's wanted, there is a possibility or a hook up at least, if not a future potential interest.
